We haven’t achieved a 1-7 at home to Colchester during that time either.

They’re the first to moan about us talking about history but their small superiority claim is also history.

Also it is worth noting that this era ran parallel to our awful Marcus Evans era. Giving Jim the boot after he’d just masterminded the last time we beat the Budgies was an early sign of things to come.

So… if they want to keep blabbing on about history, we can too.

That means referring to actual facts.

The actual facts in relation to the ‘Pride Of Anglia’ confirm ITFC are supreme in relation to silverware and derbies, so they really can’t claim anything of true worth (except maybe using ‘Ip5w1ch’. That really gets on my tits 😂).

Poll: W or W

They have posters on their site saying unbeaten in 14 years and that's all that matters.

So if we go up and when they stay down.. they're happy as we've not beaten them for 14 years. What an odd bunch.

Waka waka eh eh

It’s all they have to be enthusiastic about at the moment.

What a sad mentality to have as a football fan/club. If we go up this season and they continue their demise it’s possible we might not play for many many more years to come. Let’s say we then meet in a cup in 20 years time do they then sing 34 years with even more pride even though the number becomes somewhat irrelevant if most of those years we didn’t even play each other.

Managed to be crushed by Posh though - despite regular asset-strippping forays. Haven’t beaten Cambridge too often either.

Despite your state denial, any sane Town fan would surely see that Norwich have been markedly superior to Town in virtually every respect so far this century..

But hey, now Town fans under the age of mid-20s can glory seek for the first time and older fans with longer memories can dream of being better than Norwich again….. all things are cyclical in football.

Norwich are part of that elite group of teams with Cheltenham and Fleetwood of whom I can only dream we will one day be better than. Always dreading fans of all three boasting of yet another year unbeaten against us.

It's weird isn't it? It isn't really 14 years though, we didn't play them for 4 seasons so we'll aggregate it down to 10 :)

A very weird Norwich fan on the train yesterday was mouthing off saying ‘14 years unbeaten’ etc.

Politely reminded him we’re 21 points above them and joint top. The wet wipe didn’t have much to say.

They just drew their cup final, let’s see who’s celebrating at the end of the season.

Who cares about beating Cambridge? Bit of an odd thing to bring up, even for you.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Haven’t beaten Lincoln too often either.

It’s those results that still sting when we’re joint top of the championship isn’t it….

And yet you claim to not being a Norwich supporter. You made some pretty damning claims when accused, so I hope you are willing to retract them now.

How many of those 14 years have we actually been in the same division though? You can hardly win, draw or lose against another team if you’re not even in the same division!

The majority of the games have been largely terrible draws. Hardly dominated us. The only wins I’d say they should be chirpy about are the ones with Keane/Jewell, the Playoff second leg and the Paul Lambert derby. The rest have been largely forgettable non games.

If we don't beat them ay in April, then I can see this 14 years thing (the only thing they have got to hold onto btw) turning into something like 25 years.

We are going in different directions, we are Premier league bound and they are in dire straights next season with no parachute money. Can see them dropping to league one in a season or so.

Unless we meet in a cup competition probably won't meet them again in the league for 10 years or so :)

Poll: How long will we be in League One/League Two from next season?

Man City haven’t beaten Town in the League for 24 years.

Now Norwich’s parachute payments have dried up, the geriatric experiment at the start of this season has failed, your main assets will be stripped in January or the summer at latest and you are left trailing in our wake, where you’ve been for all but the Marcus Evans years, do you see how pathetic your ‘but, but, but 14 years!!!’ will sound when you’re a division or two below us?

That would be the Posh that we doubled and the Cambridge we took 4 points off last season, I presume?

Don’t suppose there’s any point in pointing that out to them? Nah, thought not.

It’s all about perspective really isn’t it. They view a draw as a “ win” against their superior rivals. By doing this they inadvertently are conceding we are the bigger Club!

I pointed out to one yesterday who mentioned the 14 years, that despite being so dominate over us they’d only beaten us twice in 8 years 😝. To get the same “we haven’t played you in the last 4 years”. Said he can’t have it both ways.

On the 10 February next year, we won't have lost to them for 5 years. That's 5 years of dominance for us based on their own bizarre rationality.
