Richard Naylor has thanked fans for supporting his testimonial match on Saturday afternoon. Close to 10,000 were at Portman Road for an entertaining 3-3 draw.

Naylor told the club site: "I can't thank the fans enough for coming out and supporting me.

"Walking out on to the pitch at the start with my children and receiving the ovation I did was a very special moment for me and something I will never forget.

"It was great to see so many of the lads again from the Wembley days and I'm delighted so many of them could make the game.

"Scoring the penalty at the end rounded it off perfectly - especially with Shane telling me which way he was going to dive before I took it!

"It's been a fantastic day for me at a fantastic football club."
