Town could have Simon Walton, Sylvain Legwinski and Alex Bruce back in their line-up when they take on Colchester United at Layer Road in Friday's live Sky game. Walton and Legwinski are progressing well after hamstring injuries kept them out of the Sunderland match, while Bruce is available again after suspension.

Physio Matt Byard told the club site that Walton and Legwinski are on the right track: "It's looking favourable for Friday.

"They have made good progress this week and will both have a scan tonight.

"We will see what that shows and then bring that in line with what we have seen them do on the training ground this week.

"You do have to be careful with hamstring injuries and we'll take everything into consideration and see how they do in training on Thursday, but at the moment it's looking encouraging."
