Matt Richards has been added to the squad flying to Scotland this morning ahead of tonight's friendly with Brechin City (KO 7.30pm). The midfielder has recovered from a calf problem in time to play in the game celebrating the Scottish club's centenary.

The Blues are without Mark Noble (back), Ian Miller (nose) and Gavin Williams (groin surgery) through injury and Lewis Price, Alan Lee, Chris Casement and Jaime Peters who are away on international duty.

Brechin manager Michael O'Neill has said he will come out of retirement to play and Jim Magilton is expected to join his childhood friend on the field at some stage. The Town manager intends to use all 17 of the players in the squad against the Scottish Second Division side.

Revised squad: Barron, Bowditch, Brittain, Bruce, Clarke, Currie, De Vos, Harding, Legwinski, Macken, Moore, Naylor, Richards, Sito, Supple, Walton and Wilnis.
