Billy Clarke will win his second Irish U21 cap on Tuesday night when his side play Holland in a friendly in Venlo. Coach Don Givens has named Clarke in his starting line-up alongside Wolves frontman Stephen Ward, a one-time Town target.

Clarke won his previous cap in a 1-0 victory over Slovakia at last month's Madeira Tournament.

Also in action on Tuesday will be Jaime Peters with the Canada U20s who face Scotland in their second friendly in Victoria. Canada won the first game 3-1.

Meanwhile, Chris Casement is expected to start his loan spell with Millwall later in the week after suffering a knee injury during Saturday's Northern Ireland U21 game in Romania.

The defender had been due to join up with the Lions on Monday but instead reported to Portman Road for assessment and treatment.

Republic of Ireland U21s: Quigley (UCD), Kane (Blackburn), O'Halloran (Aston Villa), O'Cearuill (Arsenal), O'Dea (Celtic), Gibson (Manchester Utd), Keegan (Drogheda Utd), Quinn (Sheffield Utd), Clarke (Ipswich), Ward (Wolves), O'Brien (Celtic).
