TWTD sponsoree Mark Burchill says he is enjoying his spell with Town and says he feels he did well on his debut. The Celtic man is the latest in a long line of players to be sponsored by TWTD, a role of honour which includes Manu Thetis, Titus Bramble and Neil Gregory.

Burchill said: "It's a bit quieter than I'm used to! But it's a nice town, a nice place. I'm enjoying my stay here and I've now got a flat and I'm settling in nicely so it's good."

He feels he did well on his debut for Town: "I was not too bad, I think I should perhaps ask you how you thought I played first and foremost! Personally I thought I did OK, I didn't score, and as a striker I've got to score, but to be involved in the two goals which won the game was good for me."

He feels the Premiership in England is better than the Scottish Premier League: "Everything's bit better and a bit stronger. Obviously the quality of player down here is better as the best players in the world are playing in the Premiership. It's difficult to tell after one game, but it seems a bit faster down here."

Sadly we are unlikely to inherit a superb terrace chant for the loan signing. Unfortunately the chant based on the Chicken Tonight advert mentioned in a local newspaper column last week turns out to be a cruel lie. Instead the Celtic fans stuck to the tried and tested 'One Mark Burchill'.

He enjoyed playing with James Scowcroft in the first half of last week's game: "I thought he did none too bad. He's a big guy and I thought he played well."

Burchill is likely to partner Scowcroft again on Sunday as Alun Armstrong is still not 100% after his back problem, Richard Naylor is out with injury and Marcus Stewart is serving the second match of his suspension.
