Stewart Signs New DealSquad for Tomorrow

Marcus Stewart has signed an extension to his Town contract which will keep him at Portman Road for another year beyond his existing deal. The Town top scorer will now remain at Portman Road until 2005 when he will be 32.

Town manager George Burley was said to be "thrilled and delighted" at Stewart's new deal. Town are talking to Fabian Wilnis and Richard Wright about new deals while others including Mark Venus, Wayne Brown, Jamie Clapham, Nabil Abidallah and John McGreal have already signed extensive new contracts.

Town's squad for tomorrow's game at West Ham: R Wright, Branagan, Salmon, Wilnis, Clapham, Makin, Hreidarsson, McGreal, Venus, Brown, Holland, Magilton, J Wright, Scowcroft, Reuser, Stewart, Armstrong, Burchill and Abidallah.
