Town will make a decision on whether to sign Crawley Town central defender Jamie Stevens after training today. The 18-year-old joined the Blues over the weekend for a three-day trial.

Crawley Town's official website says manager Steve Evans has spoken to Jim Magilton and the former Boston United player is understood to have done well in training sessions on Sunday and Monday.

No fee has yet been agreed and Evans has also held talks with another club regarding Stevens.

Meanwhile, new Derby County owners General Sports and Entertainment are reported to have previously considered investing in Town and a number of other clubs prior to this week's takeover at Pride Park.
