Matt Richards is back at Portman Road at present receiving treatment for a hamstring injury but is likely to return to Brighton to continue his loan spell in two or three weeks. Smith has been joined at Broadhall Way by former Blue Scott Mitchell, who signed on loan from Peterborough earlier in the week.
