Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier is still angry that Town refused to have tonight's game moved to avoid congestion for the Merseysiders. He has also labelled Town "lucky" after their 1-0 victory at Anfield earlier in the season.

The Frenchman said: "I am totally focused on my team and don't want to talk about the opposition, especially that opposition. They beat us earlier in the season at Anfield and I don't like it when sides take six points from us in one season. They were very lucky that day because we created good chances and missed them all."

Doesn't sound very happy with us does he?

Further to yesterday's reports on Falkirk midfielder Mark Kerr it seems his price would be around the £500,000 mark. Town and Leeds are said to be vying for the teenager's signature with George Burley watching the 19-year-old play against Airdrie last Saturday.

Falkirk manager Alex Totten admitted his club need the cash: "While we'll be sorry to see him go, the money could be a lifeline for this

club."

Kerr has enjoyed loan spells at both Town and Leeds this year.

Wayne Brown has returned to Portman Road to receive treatment on a hamstring injury. Brown is currently on loan at QPR, but the injury caused him to miss Saturday's home defeat to Blackburn.

More details have emerged about Sean Friars' arrest at the weekend. The Northern Irish youngster is due to appear in court tomorrow charged with a number of offences.

Apparently a car regularly driven by Friars was allegedly involved in an accident at the corner of Old Norwich Road and Bury Road at about 4.50pm on Saturday afternoon.

Friars was subsequently picked up by police and a breath test showed the winger to be more than three times over the legal limit. Unfortunately this is not the full extent of his charges. He is also facing several others as well as the drink-driving: two counts of assault with intent to resist arrest, obstructing and restricting a police officer, failure to stop, having no car insurance and driving otherwise in accorance with a driving licence.

Town are yet to comment on the situation and will make a statement after Friars has appeared in court. Similarly the Irish FA are awaiting developments before making a statement on a player who has captained their U21 side. Their spokesperson John Quinn: "At this moment the Irish FA would have no comment other than we await the outcome of the due process."

It was looking unlikely that Friars would remain at Portman Road much longer even prior to the weekend's incident. Now he seems almost certain to be on his way when his contract expires at the end of the season.
