Bowden: Town Could Move for Nugent Again

Chief executive Derek Bowden has not ruled out a further move for Portsmouth striker David Nugent. The Blues tried to sign the England striker on loan in March and again on a permanent basis in the summer.

Bowden said: "It is a possibility. It depends on his fitness and Portsmouth's situation.

"Certainly we have been talking with him and his agent, but it just didn't happen in the summer so we may have other priorities in January."

Nugent is currently out of action for two months having undergone surgery on a hernia injury for a second time earlier this week.
