No Surgery For Peters
No Surgery For Peters
Thursday, 23rd Oct 2008 17:01

Midfielder Jaime Peters has received good news regarding the medial ligament injury he sustained in the reserve game against Crystal Palace earlier in the month. The Canadian international will not require surgery as was initially feared.

Physio Matt Byard told the club site: "Jaime has had a scan and the ligament is sprained but is intact. There is no indication that surgery is needed and it's just a case now of continuing as we are and giving him time to recover.

"We will continue to monitor his recovery and he has reported a significant improvement lately. Hopefully, he will start some light jogging next week and then may be back in full activity in a couple of weeks."
