Clarke Set for Brentford Debut
Friday, 27th Mar 2009 11:30

On-loan striker Billy Clarke is likely to make his debut for current temporary club Brentford on Saturday when the Bees take on Gillingham at home. Clarke was prevented from making his Brentford bow on Monday when their game at Dagenham was postponed due to floodlight failure.

Clarke is hoping to win a permanent deal with the League Two leaders with his time at Town coming to an end when his contract is up in June.

Elsewhere, Shane Supple will be looking for the first win of his loan spell with Oldham when the Latics travel to Leyton Orient on Saturday having lost one and drawn one since he made his move to Boundary Park. Supple is with Joe Royle's club until the end of the season, including the play-offs.

Chris Casement, whose Northern Irish U21s aren't in action until Tuesday, should be involved with Wycombe as they face Shrewsbury at Adams Park. The Chairboys will be looking to get back into the automatic promotion zone.

Liam Trotter will hope to play more than the couple of minutes which he has become used to since moving to Scunthorpe when the Iron take on Colchester at Glanford Park. Trotter extended his loan until the end of the season earlier in the week.

In the Blue Square Premier, Jai Reason and Cambridge face Woking away on Monday (Setanta Sports One, 7.30pm), while Kurt Robinson and Rushden are in action at Northwich Victoria on Saturday.

Dan Harding is still to feature in the Reading 16 since making his move to the Royals, who have no game this weekend.
