George Burley has denied any approach from Arsenal for keeper Richard Wright. One of this morning's papers claimed that Arsene Wenger was to target Wright as his bid for Pole Jerzy Dudek had failed.

The Town manager said, however: "We have had no offers for Richard and he has recently signed a new contract. There will always be speculation regarding a player of his quality, but I can assure you that he is going nowhere at the moment."
