Town are understood to have completed the signing of Watford striker Tamás Priskin for a fee believed to be £1.7 million plus top-ups. TWTD was first to break the news of he Blues’ interest in the 22-year-old last Thursday.

Earlier this week, Priskin’s agent József Vörösbaranyi confirmed that the Blues had made an offer for the frontman, believed to be in the region of £1.2 million, which the Hertfordshire club turned down. However, Vörösbaranyi indicated that he felt a deal would ultimately be done.

Priskin was at Portman Road for a medical this afternoon and to discuss personal terms, putting pen to paper on a three-year deal with an option for a further season.

Roy seems to have a bit of flexibility re strikers ie Martin, Walters, especially if he goes with one up front away from home. Not sure Pablo will enjoy bench warming. Still get rid of him and his wages and Roy can add to his strike force. Make you wonder if he is actually injured or on one of his sulks again.
