Town's second round Carling Cup tie at Peterborough United has been scheduled for Tuesday, August 25th (KO 7.45pm).

The sides last met in the Carling Cup in August 2006 at the first round stage when the game ended 2-2 with Jason De Vos and Billy Clarke scoring for Town and Trevor Benjamin and Guy Branston for the Posh, who won the penalty shoot-out 4-2.

will be a hard evening for our boys as there will be a few young guns thrown in and posh will be up for a fight, but still confident we will go through.

I cant think of a better draw than this one. It has to be televised! Keane Fergy. Local interest. The new derby (southern) Shef U will always be the northern scum. Big games for seconders (almost first teamers). Wonderful. And lucky old posh they were drawn a top club, you know top league champions, aeropean champs FA cup winners etc etc year after year after year. Lucky old posh!

dno mate, i reckon theylll be a fair turn out, for them this will be a derby/interesting game and for us theres always a good turn out no matter where as we have good support away, and as its close theyll be extra people so i reckon youll have too order mate, be quick if u wanna go

Oakington Blue - you should be fine to get tickets on the gate, standing is £17 and thats what i'm planning to do and did that last time.
Am drumming up the local town fans for support!
