Crystal Palace are reported to want to sign Town striker Jon Stead on loan. The former Sheffield United, Sunderland and Huddersfield man is understood to be one of the players Roy Keane has told has no future with the Blues.

Earlier today, Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O’Driscoll revealed his interest in the 26-year-old frontman.

ITFC1985 added 23:00 - Aug 27 Why on earth would we want to sell him?? he gives his all and scored goals for us last season no reason why he wont do it again this season, yeah he hasnt scored yet but that could be partly to blame to our missing midfield not actually creating chances?? selling him would be a massive mistake....
