Planet Blue now has the final stock of Town-Newcastle friendship scarves on sale. All profits from the scarves, which feature both clubs’ badges, go to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation.

The initial stock sold out in one day earlier in the week and due to the demand the club is limiting purchases to four per person on a first-come, first-served basis.

Planet Blue at Portman Road closes at 5pm today, while the Buttermarket shop shuts half an hour later.

A limited number of scarves will be available via the club’s mail order phone number - 01473 400501 — but not online.

The Town-only Sir Bobby Robson scarf is still available from all outlets including the club site.

JonTheBass added 18:19 - Sep 25 I was in there this morning, and they said they had 1500 coming in late today. The reason it's 1500 is that that's the most they could get made at that short notice. The original batch was 500. I drove past Planet Blue at about 4:30pm today and the queue to get in was probably a good 100 yards long, so I didn't bother.

Queues formed outside Planet Blue as soon as the scarf went on sale again this afternoon, with the Club stocking up with as many scarves as the suppliers could provide in the turnaround period. Next week the Club will give supporters, who have not been able to purchase a 'friendship' scarf, the opportunity to pre-order one for delivery in the next few weeks. Further details will be available in the next few days.

nthstd added 20:00 - Sep 25 I have bought mine from the NUFC site as there is no hope for tomorrow, but surely the club could find more than one supplier, there plenty of wearers out there! This is a golden opportunity for Sir Bobby's foundation to make a real killing gone to waste. At least I have a whole blue one.
