Priskin Called Up
Monday, 28th Sep 2009 12:47

Striker Tamás Priskin has been named in the Hungary squad for the World Cup qualifiers in Portugal and Denmark next month. Priskin has previously won 21 caps and has scored eight international goals.

Hungary, who are still in with a slim chance of World Cup qualification, face Portugal on October 10th and Denmark four days later.

Some of you people on this site really have lost the plot completely, how can you say this guy isnt any good. There has been absolutely no service to him what so ever, he hasnt trained with town much due to international commitments and from the service he has got he has scored 2 goals and has been put on the bench alot. I for one think Tamas can be a very good signing for the town given a bit of time and a run in the team.

All the people that moan on this website are most probably the armchair supporters who listen to Brenner Wooley on radio suffolk and make judgements from that. Do us all a favour and get down to Portman Road and support the town for once, because i for one will be at Sheffield tomorrow night and at barnsley at the weekend.

Agree with alex12345! Priskin hasn't had a chance. Give him something to work with and he'll score. But he needs the right kind of support.

I'm sick & tired of people on here telling me what I should think! If Priskin is so bloody good why isnt Keane playing him for longer/more often? Fair enough the service to him has been poor, as it has been to whoever is playing up front, but from what I'VE SEEN OF PRISKIN WITH MY OWN EYES, he is an average player at best, he loses the ball to cheaply, feels he should dribble the ball into the net instead of shooting.
I asked the question about 4 weeks ago, how long would it take Priskin to score 5 league goals & got slammed for asking it!...... well, hes scored 1 league goal!

So lets see if all the Priskin fans are still wanting to give him time come Christmas. JORDAN RHODES £800k, TAMAS PRISKIN £1.7m! ask some of the Watford fans what they think, they'll tell you that they were amazed anyone would pay anywhere near £1.7m for him!

Agree with Suffolk-n-Good.

I'm tired of people sticking up for these over paid nancy boys. They get paid enough to put up with stick when its due, and again, as a season ticket holder, what I've seen of Priskin, so far is that he is not up to scratch. He's had enough time to bed in, but compared to Newcastle players on Saturday, lacked class.

We are severly lacking of class...

Jeez guys, get a grip.

I feel sorry for him - against the tightest defence in the league, we play one up front - at home!

BEDSITFC, I sincerely hope I am wrong, trust me I would love nothing more than to be proved wrong! Priskin may well end up our top scorer, on how many goals though 5, 6? lets see if your man enough to admit some of US are right at the end of the season.

How can some of you slate priskin as not good enough for the ccc !?!?
You don't get to score 8 goals in 21 games for ANY national team unless you have some quality.
The problem is the lack of service he receives at town and a general lack of confidence throughout the squad.
And by the way, this is largely brought on by some of "our knowledgeable fans" who clearly do not understand football at all.

I do not think any player can shine under the present circumstanes, Priskin has only just joined and surely cannot be judged yet. Ipswich are struggling all over the pitch and i for one do not know what is going on.

I think Priskin will turn out very good soon. Especially when Civelli comes back and Garvan is back on form.
