Strong Reserves Side Travels to Peterborough
Wednesday, 21st Oct 2009 11:21

Tamás Priskin, Jon Stead, Alex Bruce, Pim Balkestein, Jack Colback, Owen Garvan, Damien Delaney and Colin Healy are all set to play for an unusually strong reserves side at Peterborough United this afternoon (London Road, KO 2pm).

A victory would take the Blues back to the top of the Totesport.com Football Combination East Division ahead of Posh, despite the Cambridgeshire side having played two more games.

Earlier in the season, a header from Tommy Smith game the Town second string a 1-0 victory over Posh at Portman Road.

Priskin Hat-trick resulting in a push for a place this weekend and the winner in the last min of injury time to give us a nervy 1-2 victory and a nudge off the bottom. Good luck guys.

Owen, go and prove a point. You want the place? take it.

I would like to see Wickham in these games.... he's not good enough yet for first team action... would want to see him banging them in for the reserves!!
