Wife's Pregnancy Puts Stead's Coventry Move on Hold
Wife's Pregnancy Puts Stead's Coventry Move on Hold
Monday, 15th Feb 2010 07:06

Jon Stead is stalling on his proposed loan move to Coventry because his wife is pregnant, according to reports this morning. The Sky Blues are keen to recruit the former Sheffield United man on a temporary basis with a view to a permanent deal in the summer.

Last week, the clubs agreed a deal and Stead held talks at the Ricoh Arena but the player is unsure about the switch with his wife three weeks away from giving birth.

A loan deal would mean the 26-year-old frontman would spend a significant amount of time away from Suffolk, something he is loath to do at the present time.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports that club owner Marcus Evans’s Sports Management Group is selling unofficial corporate packages for the London Olympics.

As long as he spends the profits on players this summer he can sell my unofficial soul too if he wants.

Lets stay with Stead rather than get another unknown loan in who may fit in may not,we know Stead can score given service.
Why cant Keane manage with what he has like other managers have too ,we have one of the best squads in the league so prove how you can manage people Keane.

Moving house with a woman is hard enough. Only a fool would tackle it with a near full gone pregnant one.

I just wish Stead could match Ambroses scoring ability and there would be no question of him moving. To think Ambrose was our player for a short time last season and he just quietly went ,his 16 goals would have been very handy now this season
