A good game of attacking football by both teams.Ipswich were missing a few of their regular players through international call ups, and through injury. A number of new players in the side played well including the young school boy Byron Lawrence who netted two for Ipswich. As always Cody Cropper in goal had his work cut out pulling off a number of good saves to keep West Ham out. But could do nothing to stop the screamer shot that he got his hand to but could not keep it out. Result 2-1 to Ipswich Over all a good performance from both teams

Cropper the young Ipswich under 18s goalkeeper is part of the USA under 20s National side. This young man is not long turned 17 years of age a great prospect for the English selectors to keep their eyes on . It is on record that he wishes to one day represent England. Cropper holds a full English Passport and would be eligible to be called up. Do not let this young man slip through your fingers, It would be a sad loss to overlook him and others like him. COYB
