Reserves Lose Friendly at Norwich
Reserves Lose Friendly at Norwich
Wednesday, 17th Nov 2010 00:04

A Town reserves side including Jaime Peters, Luciano Civelli, Shane O’Connor and Ronan Murray lost 2-0 at Norwich City in a behind-closed-doors friendly on Tuesday afternoon.

The Canaries netted a goal in the first half and another in the final few minutes of the second period to seal the victory over Chris Kiwomya’s side.

The match had been arranged as the Blues are without a Totesport.com Football Combination East Division fixture until December 7th when they travel to Luton, the December 1st match against Southend at Portman Road having been postponed because of a clash with the Carling Cup quarter-final against West Brom.

Norwich withdrew from the reserve league in the summer and their second string are only playing friendlies this season.

Agree with you all the way ! Most of the time our so called supporters think through a fog of nostalgia , forgetting even Sir Bobby took a lot longer than 2 years to bring us any real success , so going potty as they are at the moment shows that they have to start thinking like grown-ups and not spoilt kids ! If RK goes at the end of the season they cannot expect to see any sort of real improvement for at least another 2 years maybe longer with a new ( what quality ) manager !

Roy keane has to go, there's no question about it what so ever, some fans protested to get magilton out, I didn't agree with it because it was magilton but a protest against keane I would have no problems with

Denhamblue just cheered up my day. Any supporter honestly thinking keane deserves to still be in the job is delusional

With all the press about our club and its manager at the moment which manager ( in a sane state of mind ) would want to come to a club with such ( fickle ) supporters ( and I use the term supporter in a very loose way ) ????? He would need to be so impervious to criticism as to be ( dare I say it ? ) a complete fool ! Our current treatment of the team and manager is starting to make us look like complete idiots and them up the A140 will be laughing in their millet ! Why do we not just get behind our team and prove they are going to achieve !

Meekreech don't you think that says something about what's going on at the club atm. We were never this 'negative' when magilton was in charge.

@ChambersM,

That's because we're whiney little children who are very straight forward and won't give Keane any chance just because of a few slip ups. Fair enough if the bad run continues to a certain degreee that we're nearing to the bottom 3 then yes the time is right. However we're whining about how we're preforming bad and and how he's an awful manager... but in all fairness we're 2 points off play off. We're not a super power team, all the teams this year are playing very equal football to each other (apart from the top 2) does anyone see that? Derby, Conventry, Watford, Portsmouth have all had their bad runs of form but they soon stepped it up in a matter of weeks. Just give Keane this year, if he fails we all know he won't be with us for next season.
