Town-Norwich Derby on TV Around the World
Town-Norwich Derby on TV Around the World
Tuesday, 23rd Nov 2010 11:20

As well as being shown live on BBC1 (1pm) in the UK, Sunday’s derby against Norwich City at Carrow Road is being screened throughout the world.

The match is being shown live by Viasat in Norway, while US-based supporters will have a nervy wait before watching delayed coverage on the Fox Soccer Plus around a couple of hours after kick-off.

If you’re a Town fan based overseas and know the game’s being shown where you are, or if you and other exiled Blues are gathering to watch the game in a bar in some far-flung part of the world, add the details in the Comments section below.

Looking forward to/scared of Sunday already. Will be there and singing all game like Hull no matter what.... COYB!!!
Oh yeah and all those people who said they would be happy to see the skum beat us so Keane leaves hang your heads in shame. All for people having opinions and not exactly pleased with tactics/football style/management.....but still....makes me sick.

As a side point - Money is on Narwich, and Keane being sacked/walking on Monday. But I hope I'm wrong. Drawing this will do us no good at all. Win and press on, or loose and reign in the changes. COYB

What a load of pathetic negative comments on here, let's hope that the players don't read them, maybe you are right and we will get beaten, several teams have been beaten by Norwich lately, however perhaps we will win, I believe we can and I intend to continue being a real supporter, win or lose, for goodness sake some of you, try being a little more positive, we should be looking forward to this and every game, not dreading them.

Throughout the UK?

Is it being broadcast in Scotland?

Live English games here o'er the Border are usually replaced, both on BBC Scotland and ITV Scotland, with "Midsomer Murders" or some such non-footy fare.

Let's hope the episode this Sunday is "The Blue Murder of the Canary!"

... and people wonder why Roy is annoyed with the fans. Just read 90% of the above posts and it sums it up. If some of you were ITFC fans you would NOT want ITFC to lose to Norwich, yet people are already being 100% negative BEFORE a ball is kicked. Even if you hate Roy - please could I urge every single TRUE Ipswich fan to get behind the TEAM. Negativity is not at all helpful.

I wish Keano would get out of his seat and show some passion, I mean when the opposition scores he just lays back as though he is watching a film on television or something, perhaps Sunday as he is away he might stand up like the away managers do when they come to P.R. and give a few more instructions to the team, by the way I do sit behind the dugout so I can observe.
GOOD LUCK ON SUNDAY !!!!!

I dont really like when any manager gets the sack and I dont mind losing to anyone(apart from norwich) but im a season ticket holder and the long ball to scotland which everyone in the ground apart from rk does not work , even edwards long throw would b good if it wasnt used every single time I hate norwich like everyone else but im worried but coyb prove me and 95 % of us wrong and kick start this season again and get the fans fired up for wba

I have been supporting Ipswich since the mid 60's and although in Malta there is not much possiblity to watch the ITFC games I always surf the net to try and find any highlights and read the match comments.

I was DEFINITELY not very 'keane' when he was appointed manager but I always hope that my team wins. My team comes first and foremost over my sentiments and I only hope that the board analyse the situaton better and take appropriate measures.

We must all be behind the team as that is our passion and duty and hope that things and situation change as quickly as possible in order to be able to gain promotion within the coming years.

So all you supporters in the Uk go and do your part for the players to do thier part. We will then all hope for a win and better times.

Good luck BLUES

i have read posts right through the forum and board and i cant believe people still think he (Keane)is the right man for Ipswich , it just beggers believe. Ignore all pre points regarding this subject and please make an honest judgement when you see the team selection and dread the next awful performance.
ITFC has been found out like any team does but usually in that scenario the manager of the team will adapt, change tact or counter attack our weakness but our manager is clueless, stubborn(idiot) he is also socially inept and now he is under pressure you will see the same kinda madness and siege mentality that was seen in Hitlers last days (if you think i am over reacting watch what happens at Portman road this season) but as a supporter who will no longer watch the cr8p on show i also think that when Keane finally leaves (sooner rather than later) that idiot Clegg can go (wanted to swear) with him!! I post this before the Naarwich game because i am pretty confident by the time that game finishes i will yet again be spitting feathers and willing to ring the wifes neck (sarcasm, please dont be offended) because i will be angry at what i see.
This is what has happened at our Club , i am now dreading the next performance but what i find really bizarre is that if for some miraculous reason we win at Norwich i will be very happy and the wife will have a stay of execution (again joking) but a bit of me will be dissapointed because Keane will also have a stay of execution! now if i feel like that i am either a lunatic or there is something seriously wrong at this football club!
And please dont give me all that rebuilding and adapting nonsense because as i have previously posted if there were signs of something promising in the pipeline i wouldnt expect instant success, but all we have got is an unbalanced squad with too many loanees topped off with our best players being played out of position or being deselected for man of match performances!
ITS RUBBISH I SAY AND WE NEED TO TAKE THIS CLUB OUT OF THE HANDS OF THE WALLIES WHO KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS BUT NOT A FOOTBALL CLUB, KEANE LEAVING IS NOT ENOUGH, TIME TO TURN OUR ATTENTION TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS DEBACLE !!!

i am pretty confident about this game. confident that norwich will win. knowing our defensive football it might only be a 2 or 3-0 win.
grant with 2 and wes h with another.
they will exploit our left wing and kill us.
just like in the last few games.

I am starting to believe that there are not many town fans on this site. how can so many say they would be happy for norwich to thrash us? unbelievable! personally, i think these are no town fans- canaries in disguise.
coyb! i will be cheering for you from the very beginning! maybe i will be the only voice, but i want ipswich to succeed
