Great result, great draw. Would have preferred draw on Sat to at least have belief for a few days that Wembley is really on. Still never mind sure we will enjoy the Emirates.

Great result ..now sack the manager and we can get promoted as well !! still time to salvage a horrible season and make it a success . At the end of the day the league table is the important thing ...not the league cup ....division 1 and european football @#@@ no thanks ..

Note to all you pussies that didn't turn up tonight. We had a great time without you, saw a great game and made a lot of noise. I suppose you will be back in the Semi because we are playing Arsenal. Personally I go to games to watch IPSWICH and I am proud of it

Ok, im going to sound like the most positive person in the World right now.... but, we are only 6 points off the play-offs and in a Cup Semi-Final. If Keane has ANY sense at all, he will learn from this performance and see that we are: Better 4-4-2, Better with players in their correct positions, Better when we get the ball down and pass, Better when we attack..... Ok, "yes" im a little crazy maybe, but theres a long way to go and if we dont learn from our mistakes then we will never get anywhere.... maybe tonight is the night we turned the corner.

Let me dream.... Win the Carling Cup and up thru the Play-Offs.... wow im positive!! BUT if we dont learn (Roy) then unfortunately you have had one to many chances to see the way forward and you have to go.

Europe and the Prem next season anyone????

Ok, im ready for abuse (!!) but you have to be positive right???

TO ALL THE GUYS WHO WENT ALONG TONIGHT - FANTASTIC EFFORT!!!!!

@fifeblue,
Whilst deriding Calmingwind's grammar, you seem to have missed a comma out of your sentence....
"Would HAVE, not would OF"

It's Keane's fault ;)

Personally I think it demonstrates that the core of the team does not include the loan players. We seem to do better without them.

Great night, mad rush for tickets and I bet the crowd will be more than 11,000 for the next game. Part time/ fair weather supporters.

Very well done Roy and the team, that game was well worth getting frozen cold for and I am so pleased for the boys and our much insulted Manager, 11000 people there approx. 10,000 of our supporters who made more noise than I've heard when there has been twice that amount, as long as he is our Manager Roy Keane will always receive my full support. COYB.

I think we have performed better away from home this season than at home! why because it is better to have a couple of thousand true fans singing and supporting you than 20,000 getting on your back and cheering the opposition (disgusting) last night they had Ten thousand behind them and won, think in future if you don't have anything positive to send out there stay away, we don't need part time, sing when we winning fans! The biggest humiliation for Ipswich was not the 4-1 defeat to the scum it's the fact that they packed their stadium all last year in league 1 and continue to do so this year! let's have a hard core support base that supports Ipswich town come rain or shine COYB and FOAM ( F%$K OFF ALL MOANERS , FOAM FOAM FOAM no FORKS on the Pitch Throw FOAM

My only complaint with RK this season, has been his tactics. Players out of position mainly. He got that right last night and it made all the difference. Hopefully he will have noticed and learnt from this. The side that took the pitch last night would have been selected by a lot of RK detractors, including me.

It will be interesting who he sends out on Saturday.

Great win last night and a great performance by all concerned.

Can't understand all the posts on here that talk about 'real fans', 'roy fans', 'true fans' etc. Its all a load of crap, the great majority of local people who attend the games all want ITFC to do well. Some make more noise than others, some get more disappointed than others, some can't attend as regularly as others, etc. etc. but all want the same end result. ITFC to do well.

Good draw. But where were the fans last night - only 10k. I expect the part timers will be out in their numbers with their newly bought hats and scarves for next round - they can use them for the 2 games plus the Chelsea one and then put them away again until the home derby with Norwich

Can't wait to see the games but let's be realistic people. There is more chance of Keane being England manager than there is of us beating Arsenal.

I just pray Keane will be out by then. The WBA game doesn't change the fact that we have a crappy, clueless manager !!!!

Keane OUT

Great isn't it....RK is forced to play players he's ignored (for reasons best known to him?) & we get a good result albeit against an understrength WBA side who quite candidly didn't look like they wanted it. And yes on here suddenly everything is covered in roses again!! Don't get me wrong I'm delighted we are in the semi's & all that but it doesn't hide the underlying problems we have at Ipswich. This is a poor Ipswich squad, even if we win the Carling Cup Keanes time at PR has been a disaster, he has bought and sold unwisely & should go NOW!
