Town stars of the past are taking on their Colchester counterparts in A Question of Sport - Battle of the A12 tonight at the Weston Homes Community Stadium (doors open 7.30pm).

The Blues are represented by John Wark, Simon Milton and Jason Dozzell, while David Gregory, like Dozzell a man with a foot in both camps, Kevin Watson and Richard Wilkins are giving the answers for the U’s. TWTD has provided the Town-related questions.

Tickets cost £6 and are available from Colchester United via 01206 752443 or by email here: events@colchesterunited.net.

You know what will happen if Col Who win this? Open top bus around Colchester with the trophy.

And if they beat us in their pre-season cup final expect a "2011-12 - Colchester United's Greatest Ever Season" DVD to hit the shelves by September.

Give me strength things must be quiet at the moment! Question of sport has to be the most pointless, boring, program on tv. Boring sportspeople answering questions a twiglet could answer, laughing at somthing like it was the funniest thing they have ever heard when in fact it was probably about as funny as having a testicle severed with the cherry on top being its presented by someone who looks like the sort of peice of leather I polish my car with! So where do I buy the tickets for this thing agin........
