McLoughlin on Trial With MK Dons
McLoughlin on Trial With MK Dons
Saturday, 9th Jul 2011 19:51

Released Town keeper Ian McLoughlin is on trial with the MK Dons. The Irish U21 international was told his Blues contract wouldn’t be renewed at the end of the season.

The 19-year-old played the second half of a 4-1 friendly victory at St Neots Town this afternoon, keeping a clean sheet during his 45 minutes on the field.

McLoughlin, who appeared on the first team bench for Town but without getting on to the field, ended 2010/11 on loan at Stockport County where he made his first league appearances, having spent time a similar spell at Ryman League Premier Division Lowestoft Town earlier in the campaign.

Former Blues striker Dean Bowditch joined the MK Dons earlier in the summer after leaving Yeovil.

Elsewhere, former Town loanee Gianni Zuiverloon is close to joining Spanish La Liga side Real Mallorca having left West Brom at the end of the season.

It's a shame they didn't join AFC Wimbledon. MK Dungs...stinks! Hopefully they'll move on from there before long. Gnash, damn, etc.

Whilst I wish him well any chance of an article on a player we might be getting rather than yet another story about a player we have let go?

there are some very rude people who read this site
the editor is bringing us wide and varied news and nobody is forcing you to read every article
you should take a look at the absolutely rubbish unofficial sites most clubs have and thank your lucky stars that ours is one of the best
now shut up or ship out

Anyone else worried about the goalkeeping situation? If Fulop gets injured we are only left with ALB - not good surely?

Spot on Jabberjackson! You can tell exactly what the article is about from the title. If it's not of interest to you don't bother reading it and certainly don't bother commenting on it and being so pathetically disrespectful to those who go out of their way to provide this tremendous service. Have a word with yourselves!
