Town Open Day Thursday
Town Open Day Thursday

Town are holding an open day at Portman Road on Thursday when fans will get the chance to watch the first team squad train. The Blues promised to hold a number of open training sessions after former manager Roy Keane’s policy of welcoming fans to Playford Road on a daily basis was scrapped earlier in the year.

Entry to the event, which will be held on the main pitch from 9.45am until 12.30pm, will be free with the lower tier of the Britannia Stand open via the Constantine Road entrance.

In addition to Town training, there will be a demonstration of freestyle football, plus other activities and refreshments.

Former boss Jim Magilton previously held an open training session at Portman Road in 2008.

Another policy put right from that Scum Bag Ke*nes regime, That Poisonous Scum's ethos can't be rid of quick enough.. Having lost some key players because of his pittiful attempt at running the club - we're going to be rebuilding faith and relationships for years to come... Worst thing to EVER happen to this club. Dirt.

Seems a pity that we don't welcome fans to Playford Road on a daily basis since Keane left. I guess some people just disagree with everything.
