I am an Irish ITFC supporter and was privileged to see his wonder strike against Italy. Keith is a class act and is Ipswich through and through in his mentality. We love Trapattoni and trust his judgement implicitly. Ncharles is right - he would make an outstanding captain - a real midfield leader.

No issues around Delaney being omitted. Jewell was ultimately responsible for the defensive shambles on Saturday, but Delaney was patently not up to the job. Hamsik and Pavlyuchenko would have him for dinner in the internationals.
