New loan signing Danny Collins says he’ll look at making his move to the Blues from Stoke a permanent switch if all goes well during his initial 93-day spell at the club. The 31-year-old’s Potters contract is up at the end of the season.

Speaking in a Radio Suffolk interview, Collins said: "I'll obviously see how it goes, if I enjoy it then perhaps I'll look in January at an extension or a permanent move.

"We'll see how it goes in the three months I'm here, but I can't rule out."

The former Sunderland man says he’ll add a bit of noise to Town’s notoriously quiet team: "I'd say I'm pretty vocal on the pitch, I've noticed it's a pretty quiet squad.

“There's not too many talkers out there, I'm a vocal lad, so maybe I'll have to bark a few orders out at the back."

Unfortunately that is one of the weaknesses of democracy my friends - you have to be prepared to listen to any village idiot who happens in the door!

Under a dictatorship I have no doubts that our "friend" P Mason would be locked up securely somewhere .... for his own good of course!

I went to Blackpool and Collins didn't look slow at all. Not afraid to put his head in and was organising the defence at times. I'd be more than happy to keep him if he shows that level of consistency.

I thought Carlos Edwards played really well at Blackpool also.

Learnt a new expression today~ "To troll". Whilst initially against it, in pmason's case I can see some value!

Original enough?
