Town’s move to Falkirk for left-sided central defender Murray Wallace is still very much alive, despite earlier reports that their offer had been turned down. The Blues are understood to have matched Brighton's bid of £300,000 plus the usual add-ons, while reports elsewhere claim Huddersfield have also now had their offer accepted.

The Seagulls have been given permission to speak to the 19-year-old but with the Blues — and probably others - also still very much in the hunt.

Town, Swansea, Charlton, Norwich and Newcastle were also all reported to have watched the one-time Rangers trainee in action over the Christmas period.

He's 19 and it does seem that there are quite a few English clubs sniffing around and unless you have seen him live I would have thought that that the scouts of these English clubs probably have a bit more of a clue than you. The constant moan on this site is that we should be targeting promising younger players from lower divisions and when we do the likes of you complain about that.
