N'Daw in U21 Squad Facing Cardiff
Thursday, 6th Sep 2012 16:07

New loan signing Guirane N’Daw has been included in the squad for Friday’s U21 game against Cardiff City at Playford Road (KO 11am). Like Elliott Hewitt, who has also been confirmed in the squad, N’Daw will be making his first appearance in a Town shirt.

N’Daw, along with Nathan Ellington, will be amongst the three overage players clubs are allowed to field. Youngsters Ronan Murray, Joe Whight, Byron Lawrence and Mark Timlin are also in the squad.

Friday’s game is Town’s first at home in the newly-formed U21 Professional Development League Two South.

Their only match so far was the 2-1 defeat at Swansea, Ellington, who we understand was close to joining Notts County on trial a month ago, scoring the Blues’ goal.

I think it would be good to see him get a game at CB sometime. And as a loanee who could sign up eventually, as PJ wants....could be an interesting & valuable signing.

think it was more a registration of suprise that a 28 year old CAN be included in the squad, or in other words, suprised about the rules, not his inclusion itself. that is right hey keebs?

problem is buckie, hes a midfeidler who ALSO plays center back (as much as i want him to be a centerback too...) but do agree could be a good signing to beef up the midfeild which although good, looks a bit lightweight. (defense starts in midfeild afterall) still need that elusive centerback, hopefully sorted before loan window closes. any news on st ledger, upson or that celtic bloke?

Good news to hear Hewitt is playing and will do N'Daw good. You certainly wouln't want to fall out with him would you! Just what town need in my view, a bit of muscle.
