Ainsley Hopes to Extend Chelmsford Loan Tuesday, 26th Mar 2013 09:36 Jack Ainsley’s one-month loan spell at Chelmsford City came to an end after the Clarets’ 1-0 home victory over Eastbourne Borough last night but the right-back is keen to extend his spell at Melbourne Park. The 22-year-old, whose Town contract is up at the end of the season, tweeted: “Chelmsford City, thanks very much, been a pleasure. Hoping to sort something out to stay until the end I the season!” During last night’s game fellow Blue Joe Whight — who is already with the Clarets for the rest of the season - provided the assist for Jamie Slabber’s 74th minute winner for the Blue Square Bet South side managed by ex-Town midfielder Glenn Pennyfather. Thursday is the deadline for emergency loans with Town appearing likely to be in the market for another goalkeeper, West Ham having called back Stephen Henderson last week after their second-choice Raphael Spiegel broke a finger while on international duty with Switzerland’s U21s.
