Italian Branch Raising Funds for Trust

The Italian Branch of the Supporters Club have announced a new fundraising collaboration with the ITFC Charitable Trust.

Simone Longo from the Italian Branch says there is a link for making donations on their blog and that they have a game planned to mark the initiative: “To celebrate our new cooperation, we will play a charity five-a-side match with our friends from CSC Celtic Italian fans on Saturday 6th July.

“We will collect funds to donate to the Charitable Trust and another charitable foundation that cooperates with the Italian Celts.

“Another idea is to organise a charity tournament with all Italian branches (of UK and other foreign teams) based in Milan at Christmas.

“We have the objective to make a donation to the Charitable Trust on every occasion that we will play, matching the [game’s] fun with a charitable activity.”

During the match against the Celts, the Italian Branch will wear the logo pictured above.

Jo-Ann Barker from the Trust welcomed the donations from Italy: “We are delighted that the ITFC Italian Branch have chosen the ITFC Charitable Trust for all their fundraising activities.

“They have already made several welcome donations to the Trust and we really appreciate their ongoing support and enthusiasm.”
