TWTD Questionnaire 2012/13 Results Now Online
Wednesday, 3rd Jul 2013 14:48

TWTD’s seventies-style supercomputer, the Osborne 1.0, has been fired up once again and the results of the TWTD Questionnaire 2012/13 are now available. Close to 2,500 supporters took part, up 300 on last year, making it by far the biggest annual poll of Town fans.

To read this year’s results and to look back at the TWTD Questionnaire from the previous five seasons, click here.

Many thanks to all those who took the time to answer the questions. As ever, we'll pass the results on to the club.

Some interesting results. I'm surprised Lloyd Dyer did'nt make the best opposition player list, he almost single handedly tore us appart at the "King Power" Those that think the speed of service at the bars is ok can't be using the one I use at half time in the Bobby Robson lower. Need to leave before the whistle to guarantee enough time to buy a pint & drink it without necking it before the restart.

I see that Tommy Smith has is listed as the favourite Town player of 2.4% of the fans. How can you know that it is not Trevor Smith who is the favourite of 2.4% of us?

Wilfried Zaha best opposition player? Who the fook voted for him? Not surprising to see the look east/ anglia coverage results mainly being "very poor"

I would be more concerned about the 5 people who think MM has done a very poor job and the 12 who think he has done an average one. What do people really expect?

I'm similarly surprised that those isolated souls who judge the TWTD website to be poor laboured through over forty questions to express their opinion. I would have thought that perhaps not visiting the site in the first place would free up more time for them to be sad over something else instead.

I'm surprised the local press do not get more of a hammering. Since Archant took over and moved everything to Norwich I think the coverage, in the Star in particular, is awful!

Nice to see that there was an even spread of demographics both for age of participants and their location. Still a male dominated response though. Perhaps the women were too busy in the kitchen.

[It was a joke!!]

"I would be more concerned about the 5 people who think MM has done a very poor job"

The five in question would be Paul Jewell, his mum, his wife, his accountant and his dog.

Glad Phil/Gav (and MM) got the overwhelming support deserved. Phil, with your 'other' fans not being located in outer space joke, you should double up as half time entertainer!
PS Southamptonblue- to be fair PJ recommended MM; not to say mum etc were so positive though!

Surely the biggest waste of space is the 'favourite player' question. Due to the younger age of many fans we get anomalies whereby Kuqi and Counago are somehow given more kudos than say Hunter or Crawford. It's a nonsense and adds nothing to an otherwise excellent survey.

I like the mention from Phil of John Ford in the ticket office question. As he is one of the redundancies from there I don't suppose he will be quite as bothered to get a gold star. Be interesting to see the response to the question next season, well actually it would be good to see the answers to all the questions
