Ramadan Wins Cap Tuesday, 29th Oct 2013 13:50 Academy first-year scholar Cemal Ramadan came on as a 50th minute sub but couldn’t prevent the Republic of Ireland U17s from falling to a 6-0 defeat to England in the final game of their UEFA U17 qualifying mini-group in Yerevan, Armenia this lunchtime. Despite the defeat, the Irish youngsters finished second in the group and are through to the next phase of qualifying. Striker Ramadan started his side’s first game, in which they beat Gibraltar 4-1, and was an unused sub in their second, a 2-0 victory over the hosts.
