Nouble Misses Trip
Tuesday, 11th Mar 2014 13:55

Town have confirmed that striker Frank Nouble missed the trip to Yeovil with a hamstring injury.

Nouble, 22, was forced off in the recent 1-0 home victory over Birmingham and felt the problem again after Saturday's long trip back from Middlesbrough.

The former England U19 international's absence means manager Mick McCarthy will be forced into at least one change of personnel, although he was planning to shuffle his pack for the visit to Huish Park in any case.

Midfielder Anthony Wordsworth was ruled out yesterday with a back problem and 17-year-old second-year scholar Teddy Bishop again travelled.

I feel McCarthy created a problem when he signed another good centre back. Chambers and smith should have been left alone with Mings as cover. We needed a right back as we lost Stearman. Had we of signed a rb instead of a cb it would not have been so disruptive to the team.
Tonight get back to basics and pick the team that consists of players playing in their best positions only. Personally not that fussed if Taylor plays or not but I feel SEB should start and also Richardson and Williams. Set the team out to be positive, if we loose, loose 5 -4, I think the supporters just want us to go for it now, sh**t or bust!

bluefeast i probably agree with you but in reality i also agree with Cloddyseedbed we should have signed a right back instead of Berra if Mick didnt trust Hewitt.
We had cover at centre half and Chambers and Smith were the best partnership in the league from January onwards last season.
As good as Berra has been i dont think the partnership has been as good due to Berra not being on his natural side.
