U21s Win at Coggeshall Saturday, 26th Jul 2014 17:04 by James Ager Mark Kennedy's U21 side recovered from going a goal down at Coggeshall Town, coming back to convincingly win 4-1 on Saturday afternoon with strikers Monty Patterson (pictured) and Darren McQueen both grabbing a brace. It was the hosts that took the lead after just three minutes when Darren May was left unmarked from a freekick and he slotted the ball past Michael Crowe. Town equalised just four minutes later when Byron Lawrence's effort was only parried by Graeme Smith into the path of Patterson, who converted with ease. McQueen gave the Blues the lead on 37 after a good run and cut back from Teddy Bishop on the left. The former Spurs youngster increased the advantage in the second period when he rounded Smith following a ball over the top. Patterson completed the scoring on 67 after more good work from Bishop allowed him to finish from close range. U21s: Crowe, Robinson, Wyatt, Willbye, Sowunmi, M Clarke, Galvin, Bishop, McQueen, Patterson, Lawrence. Unused: McDermid, Ellis, Daly, Ingram.
