Williams Starts at Forest
Sunday, 5th Oct 2014 14:08

Jonny Williams replaces Teddy Bishop in an otherwise unchanged Town side which is looking for their first win at Nottingham Forest since December 1999 this afternoon.

The on-loan Palace man made his second Town debut and scored having come on as a sub at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday before making way late on with a minor groin problem.

Ex-Forest duo Luke Chambers and David McGoldrick start for the Blues, but Paul Anderson misses out on a place in the 18 due to the hamstring injury he suffered in training.

Forest: Darlow, Lichaj, Mancienne, Wilson, Hunt, Lansbury, Tesche, Antonio, Burke, Fryatt, Assombalonga. Subs: De Vries, Harding, Lascelles, Osborn, Grant, Paterson, Veldwijk.

Town: Gerken, Parr, Mings Chambers (c), Berra, Skuse , Hyam, Sammon, Williams, Murphy, McGoldrick. Subs: Bialkowski, Smith, Bru, Tabb, Henshall, Bishop, Bajner.

Sammon in front of Bishop ? Can't wait to hear the 'how dare anyone criticise Mick' brigade justify that one.

I had hoped MM would have started with both Bishop and Williams with Salmon dropping to the bench but still hopeful we may get something from today's game COYB.

Interesting line up! Not convince by Sammon, but Mick is the man in charge. He has done very well for us, so must trust his judgement!

How about because Sammon and Bishop are two very different players who play in different positions? We'll need Sammon's physicality today for sure.

chuffed to bits with that lineup, not even an in form Messi would break into that side.

Some guy just asked me 'Whats the difference between ignorance and apathy?'
I said 'i don't know and i don't care'

Dallan Atkinson wot is your view??????????

A team is picked on the basis of how we are most likely to get something out of a game. Why is that some people fail to see that? Sammon is in because he has a particular job to do against todays opposition. Bishop could not do that job. No-one, least of all MM expects him to turn into Messi!!!!

So we pick an enterprising starting line up with 3 strikers and an attacking midfielder while playing away from home to an undefeated team and still some people aren't happy? Unbelievable.

Dalty - couldn't agree more with you. At least the numerous people wishing MM out a few weeks ago are now silent. We are playing a very good side today away and will do really well to get a draw.
