Wood in New Zealand Squad
Tuesday, 10th Mar 2015 15:28

Loanee striker Chris Wood has been named in the New Zealand squad for a friendly against South Korea in Seoul on Tuesday 31st March but Blues defender Tommy Smith will not be involved.

Coach Anthony Hudson has named an experimental party including six uncapped players with a number of experienced regulars left out.

Wood, on loan with the Blues from Leicester for the rest of the season, has previously won 37 caps, scoring 13 goals.

wonderful loan signing ,so quick ,great touch ,has scored numerous goals at championship level ,ffs the blokes not even fit ,how is he better than the lively lad we have from colchester the one and only mr sears ,that sub on saturday by MM was the madest decision ive ever witnessed take an on form player off and replace him with an unfit lump ,we went to bits after that ,this bloke wood does not fit in with our team ,he fitted with leicester last season due to the fact they used pace outwide and averaged 17 crosses per match ,our average is 5 per match ,apples and oranges ,ie nothing alike. Messi wouldnt fit into our team would he ,as we are a lump and dump outfit . Chambers could pass the ball 15 metres to messi ,or would he just spank it and expect messi to chase it ,my point is , players fit in with playing styles ,our style is not get it down and play its hoof ball in the main ,so wingers dont feature as crosses are not on the agenda. so minus the post all you like ,but do back it up with hard facts please.

Hard fact number 1
Your a supported and that it.

Hard fact number 2
MM is the manager and is a successful manager in his own right

Hard fact number 3
We're all human and occasional make mistakes. If ITFC didn't make mistakes we'd win every game. Has any team ever won every game?

My point is MM is a professional football manager and your suppose to be a supporter. So how about you support and get behind the manager and the team because having a little moan is going to do nothing good whatsoever, unless you are unhappy in life and are looking for a place to vent your anger in which case carry on. We're here to support you.

I am sorry to have to say this but Tommy is not in the NZ squad on form. He needs to be out on the training pitch and ONLY using his right foot.

Feel really sorry for Tommy having to play the wrong side of centre back has affected his confidence.
