Chaplow and Wood Start at Huddersfield
Monday, 6th Apr 2015 14:12

Town boss Mick McCarthy has made two changes to his side ahead of this afternoon’s game at Huddersfield. Richard Chaplow and Chris Wood come into the team for Teddy Bishop and Freddie Sears.

The Blues are again expected to line-up in a 4-4-2 formation with Luke Varney on the right of midfield.

Bishop and Sears are on the bench alongside Jonny Williams but there’s no place for David McGoldrick.

Huddersfield: Smithies, Scannell, James, Hudson (c), Smith, Lynch, Coady, Gobern, Butterfield, Wells, Vaughan. Subs: Allinson, Edgar, Wallace, Lolley, Holmes, Carroll, Majewski.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Fryers, Berra, Smith, Skuse, Chaplow, Varney, Tabb, Murphy, Wood. Subs: Gerken, Clarke, Anderson, Bishop, Williams, S Hunt, Sears. Referee: Tony Harrington (Cleveland).

What does Tabb have to do to get dropped... he was absolute rubbish against Bournemouth yet is still in the side. Must be blackmailing MM... can't see any other reason!!

Interesting team selection. One down at time of writing isn't a great start.

I sort of understand the argument regarding Williams' fitness but what I cant quite get my head around is why, with seven games left when we signed him, he was brought in with so little time left to get fit or have an impact. If he can't play until the last two or three games and we are then out of it then it will look like a strange signing I think

MM team selection and tactics found wanting again. We've lost this league from results against teams in the lower half of the table. It's just not good enough!!

another season in championship god we do suffer us fans thanks mr evans for not backing manager do hope season tickets drop.
we deserve all we get at times nothing no quality in the side at all long ball football and a chairman who needs to seriously think if he wants to be a part of itfc bring back burley and sheepshanks and players like magilton holland rusuer to name a few players who have ability other than route 1 football.

The moaning and negativity is depressing. Please note that Parr crossed the assist for the goal. The players are trying but we are not Barcelona and we have no automatic right to win games. MM & TC have more experience and football know how than any town fan but armchair critics snipe away.
Support the team for crying out loud.

It doesn't help Crawfordsboot, when Mick won't drop poor players such as Tabb but will players such as Sears. Tabb ran around all the second half against Bournemouth and barely touched the ball!! This is the first time I can remember Mick actually subbing him!!

You're crazy Crawfoodsboot if you're having with our style of play, managers tactics and how the season is ending. From a position of strength at Christmas, we're not even going to make the play-offs. How does that make the team, manager and owner safe from complaints???
