Minute's Applause Tribute to Fan
Monday, 20th Apr 2015 14:42

The friends of Town supporter Chris Reynolds, who died aged 21 at the weekend, are asking fellow fans to take part in a minute’s applause in his honour in the 21st minute of Saturday’s home game against Nottingham Forest.

The Lowestoft-based supporter died in Papworth Hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Saturday’s match programme will include a tribute written by a family friend and the club say they support the plans for the minute’s applause.

Meanwhile, there will be a minute’s silence prior to the game to mark the 30th anniversary of the Bradford fire. Fifty-six fans died and more than 265 were injured in the fire at Bradford's match against Lincoln City on Saturday 11th May 1985.

What a lovely gesture, its the least we can do for a fellow blue who should be at the game Saturday with us all. RIP young man.
