Away Leg to Be Screened at Portman Road
Thursday, 7th May 2015 16:04

Town have announced that the away leg of the Blues’ Championship play-off semi-final against Norwich City on Saturday 16th May will be screened at Portman Road.

The Sir Bobby Robson Suite and Legends Bar in the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand will be open for the match at Carrow Road for those not able to secure one of the 2,042 tickets to the game itself.

Entry is £5.95 per person, including a Portman Pie and a pint. Arrival is from 11.15am with the game - which like the first leg is live on Sky - kicking-off an hour later. Tickets are limited so fans are advised to book early. Full details on the club site.

Meanwhile, Millwall have confirmed that midfielder Richard Chaplow, who is on loan with the Blues until the end of the season, will be released in the summer, along with former Town skipper Carlos Edwards and ex-loan striker Ricardo Fuller.

Would of been even better if they had opened up the ground and hired a hge screen. A bit like they have done for gigs/concerts before at Portman Road.

....... we are funny -Norwich announce this almost a week back to their fans - we tail behind, and have to add an extra 95 pence.

Not complaining. just making the point and having to smile.

One day we'll get there first. hopefully this time !!!!!! ........ and who knows ? ... maybe even CHEAPER.

Well if the queues in the Northstand upper bars are anything to go by, you'll be very lucky to get served your free pie and Portman Pint.

Their away match is a week earlier than our away match so it makes sense that they announced this a week earlier.

Urgh.

sorry Blueboy, I've got a few things on my mind
I'm really worried about something, and it's making me a bit fractious
I can't talk about it openly at home
But it's something very dear to my heart

So, how many people exactly can fit in the suite and bar?

It may be an extra 95p but you won't be drinking Woodforde's Ferry and eating one of Delia gristle pies. It'll be Adnams and Portman Pies.

Yes, its clothing optional. Please let your wives and girlfriends know.

Woodforde Ferry is damned rough beer. Its like drinking Guinness, but without the wonderful taste.

Delia's pies are actually alright to be fair - her culinary skills cant really be called into question like her taste and knowledge in football.
