Bru and Varney Start for Town

Kevin Bru and Luke Varney return to the Town side facing Norwich City in this afternoon’s Championship play-off semi-final first leg at Portman Road.

Jay Tabb and Jonny Parr drop to the bench alongside David McGoldrick, back after his niggly thigh problem.

Given this side he has picked manager Mick McCarthy has a variety of options, however, the Blues boss seems set to start with a midfield three of Cole Skuse, Bru and Teddy Bishop with Varney on the right of a front three alongside Daryl Murphy and Freddie Sears.
