Town Face Cambridge in Pre-Season
Thursday, 28th May 2015 11:10

Town will face League Two Cambridge United in a friendly at the Abbey Stadium on Tuesday 21st July (KO 7.45pm).

The Blues last faced the U’s in pre-season ahead of the 2012/13 season with two goals from Michael Chopra seeing Paul Jewell’s team to a 2-0 victory against the then-Conference side.

Town have been allocated the whole of the South Stand for the match with tickets, which will go on sale in the next week or so, priced at £12 for adults, £8 for concessions and £4 for juniors.

Yesterday, the club announced that the squad will be spending their now traditional week at the Carton House Hotel in Co Kildare before beginning their pre-season fixtures with a game against Shelbourne at Tolka Park, Dublin.

A 2:2 at Cambridge is preferable to a 1:1 at Newcastle, discuss.
