Town’s U18s and U16s matches at home to Cardiff City on Saturday morning have been postponed, while the U15s are in action at AFC Sudbury this evening and Monday’s U21s game with QPR has switched to a 1.30pm kick-off.

The U16s and U18s games have been called off with high winds and torrential rain forecast for the weekend.

Last week the U18s drew 3-3 away against Colchester United with all the goals - Town’s scored by Ross Meldrum, Conor McKendry (pictured) and Ben Morris - coming in the first half.

Blues scholars Morris, Andre Dozzell and Nick Hayes will all be joining up with the England U17 squad for the Algarve Tournament next week.

Elsewhere, a Town U15s side is facing a Suffolk FA youth squad made up of U16s and U17s at AFC Sudbury’s Wardale Williams Stadium this evening (KO 7pm). Admission is £1.

Monday’s U21s game against QPR at Playford Road will start at 1.30pm having initially been scheduled for half an hour earlier.
