U18s Beat QPR to Finish Fourth
Sunday, 17th Apr 2016 17:47

England U17 international Ben Morris scored his 21st goal of the season as Town’s U18s beat QPR 3-1 in their final game of the campaign at Playford Road on Saturday morning to end 2015/16 fourth in the Professional Development League Two South.

The young Blues, whose two other goals came via trialist striker Declan Daniels, who is currently with the Robbie Fowler Academy on Merseyside, had started the day sixth but their win and Millwall’s 2-1 defeat away against champions Watford saw them leap into the top four.

Meanwhile, Town’s U16s beat Colchester United 4-2, also at Playford Road.

Well done lads. Always remember the club is permanent, the Manager is temporary.

Looks like the talent is coming through again after a barren period.

Pity though that never managed Cat 1,when we applied;as it seems that wont get it now unless promoted

Bryan Klug will therefor have to continue to operate with one hand tied behind his back.
