Hadleigh United have announced a pre-season friendly against a Town XI at their Millfield ground on Saturday 23rd July (KO TBC).

The match is a testimonial for Kris Rose, who has been with the Thurlow Nunn Premier League side for 10 years.

Town are yet to confirm details of the first-team’s pre-season programme but it is expected to be much the same as in previous seasons under Mick McCarthy.

Bluebell added 12:41 - May 19 That will test them! I guess it will be youngsters and 'hangers on'. I can't imagine the senior players will be too enamoured at playing against them. Looking forward to seeing who else Town will be playing pre-season. I guess there will be an Ireland trip at some stage.
