A number of Town players are set to meet with George Burley today to discuss their futures. Amongst them is Finidi George who says he is worried that he may be on his way.

Finidi says: "I won't know what I will be doing until after I speak with the manager.

"I would be very happy to stay here but if the club don't want me then I will have to tell my agent to find me another club.

"It is not up to me to leave. I'm not looking for another club, I have a contract and if they want me to stay then I will be back."

Finidi will pay a visit to Amsterdam for a couple of days and then returns to Nigeria still hoping for inclusion in their squad for the World Cup.

Other names apparently set to meet with Burley include Argentinian loanee Sixto Peralta, Matteo Sereni, Richard Naylor, Mike Salmon, Wayne Brown, Mark Venus and Richard Logan.

Venus is expected to be offered a new one-year deal over the next few days while we understand that Richard Logan has been told he can leave if an offer comes in. However, the young striker still has two years left on his contract.

Mike Salmon is out of contract at the end of June and looks likely to be on his way. Young South African central defender Justin Miller is also out of contract next month.

The Sixto Peralta situation may take a little while to resolve with the player keen to join Town, while at the same time expressing an interest in staying in the Premiership.

Two unnamed clubs are reported to be showing interest in him and the £3 million price-tag slapped on him by Inter may prove too high for a First Division Town.

The likes of Richard Naylor are likely to want to move on to Nationwide League clubs, however, with money tight, there is no guarantee that clubs can be found for them. Naylor still has another year left on his Town deal but refused to sign an extension late last year.

Wayne Brown spent two spells on loan at First Division clubs last season with both keen to buy him at the end of his time there. Wimbledon were unable to stump up the cash while George Burley prevented the central defender from joining Watford, presumably with a view to Brown playing some role with Town if they were relegated.

Sereni, alongside Finidi, looks the most likely of the high profile players to go and already parma have expressed an interest. Other clubs are also reported to be showing an interest in the keeper, who Town paid a record £4.8 million last August.

Ulrich Le Pen looks certain to move on, admitting last week that negotiations had started with Racing Club de Strasbourg regarding his return to France.

Amir Karic, who spent the majority of the season on loan at former club NK Maribor, looks likely to rejoin them permanently, although he still has two years left on his Town contract.
