Midgley Off to Kidderminster?
Midgley Off to Kidderminster?

Neil Midgley could once again be off on loan, this time to Conference side Kidderminster Harriers. The midlanders' rotund manager Jan Molby watched Midgley score two in the 7-0 demolition of Wycombe Wanderers reserves yesterday afternoon. As yet George Burley has had no contact from the scouse-voiced Dane, but is expecting to hear that he wants Midgley until the end of the season. Kidderminster could well run out winners of the Conference this season. Midgley, who scored on his Town debut against West Brom on December 18th, has already enjoyed a successful loan spell at Luton this season and is keen to get more first team football under his belt.

Richard Wright racked up another clean sheet yesterday evening in the U21 play-off in Barcelona. England won 3-0 and there was little for Wright to do, but what he did do he did well. Kieron Dyer also gave a good account of himself and both must be seriously thinking that they will be in the squad for the European Championships in the summer.

Town have taken on fourteen youngsters from the U16 academy side, twelve have scholarships, whilst another two will carry on at school. There are already plans for an U17 team next season as well as the U16s and U19s.
